The deadline is approaching for student Spotlight headshots to be submitted, Spotlight’s graduation edition closes its books on the 1st November.
It’s really important for students to have a good photo in The Spotlight, obviously students are at the early stages of their careers and a great headshot can make all the difference in catching the eye of a casting director or an agent. Spotlight is the main directory for emerging talent and the first place commissioning people in the business go to looking for new talent.
What is a great headshot for a student, well it’s pretty much the same for any actor; it needs, connection, emotion and personality. When these three things are present and working together you’ll have a headshot with the WOW Factor. In my new book ’50 Tips For A Perfect Headshot’ due out for release in the next couple of weeks, I break down into small chunks the business of a perfect headshot. Tip no.17 – goes into detail on the subject of the WOW Factor. Look out for the book coming very soon. Learn more at NickGregan.com
